Memorial Weekend Card Making

This weekend I was supposed to meet 2 ladies to make cards.  Um, they didn't show up so it was just me and my glue.  This is what I came up with on Saturday.  I didn't get Monday off and Sunday I was farming, otherwise the final amount would have been more.  I got lots of inspiration from the blogs on the OWH blog hop on Sunday and will be "borrowing" a few of the ideas to get my next box filled.

As I was posting this I started making more of the safari cards.  Those images are actually stickers that had just been hanging around.  Here are some close ups of the cards I made on Saturday.

Stump Lynn!

Inspired by Sandy, at Operation Write Home, I am working on my own series of "Stump Lynn."  These are cards made up of leftovers from other projects, RAK's and just plain old-er stuff that has been collecting dust far too long.  Not having the same access to stores like I had before I moved here, I tend NOT to throw things out so quickly.  The challenge comes when I do get to shop for supplies, the older stuff gets put in a box or drawer and is forgotten until there is no room for new or old.

This card was made from some leftover O'Scrap die cuts, some netting from a card sent to me, the Happy Birthday sticker was a RAK, stamped corners from a $1 set and the frame I made at the LSS when trying out their Cricut.

Not too bad for my first Stump Lynn.  Thanks Sandy for the inspiration!

Men Like Cards Too!

I really think that men like (receiving) cards too, so, here are my manly cards for today.

Happy Birthday

I really liked how this came out, I just might have to CASE my own card! LOL!

Winter in cards only!

I don't know about you, but, I am sooooo done with winter.  Except for cards.  Paper snow is ok.
