Cards from the prize box!

During the Operation Write Home Birthday Bash, my name was drawn at random for a prize. It was a wonderful collection of items and images and here are the first 4 cards made with a mix of things from the box and my stash. It is has been fun so far and the items in the box will be making the return trip to WA as whole made cards. How cool is that??

OWH Midweek Throwdown - Love Theme

I recently purchased a flower making stencil and have been cutting up that pile of patterned paper scraps. I'm loving how easy it is to make these. This card was made from more scraps and RAK's.

Midweek Throwdown - Christmas Cards

First I have to say, wow, is it ever hard to photograph shiny silver paper! This stuff makes great ornaments for the cards, but the shine can be a bit tough to get a good picture of. This card is for 2 challenges that happen to be on at the same time. The first one is for a WCMD celebration over at Simply Rae blog. It is for her sketch challenge. And as I was making it yesterday I saw that it was also good for the OWH Midweek Throwdown. That sort of timing rarely happens to me.

Love You

This was made by using 2 stencils, one is the flower in 3 sizes and the other is the swirl on the side. The sentiment stamps is an old dime store stamp that just matched perfectly!

Raspberry Butterfly

I made this butterfly with an unknown brand of stamp bought off e-bay, added the glitter glue around the edges and sealed the whole thing in Dimensional Magic. I made it a few days ago. I know that it is Autumn and most of our card making is geared towards the holidays....... she, however, was crying out to be a card.
