Autumn leaves for my daughter

Yes, Autumn is rapidly approaching.  After the day of pouring rain I went outside to see there was snow in the Rocky Mountains.  EEeeek!  It isn't cold here yet, but that was kind of spooky.  I thought I would surprise my daughter who lives in FL with a card.  Well, it is clear skies for the morning here so I had better get a move on!

Call me CRAZY Fall Cards

I finally got this group of 10 cards done!  I made them as missing you cards so that they won't "expire" if not used by Thanksgiving.  The leaves are all these wonderful colored stickers with gold foil edging and accents.  The were too thin to use on the lumpy layers so I mounted them on cardstock and fussy cut them out.

Yes, I just said I cut them out..... enough leaves and acorns for TEN cards.  Yikes!  I had made 2 cards and thought they looked good and wanted to use up a bunch of the remaining stickers....... UM, yeah.......... that was a lot of cutting.  But I do love the result!

First Fall Cards

While I was working on the Christmas cards it realized I had not made any fall cards.

 

 

I started making these backgrounds while watching show.  It is amazing how relaxing that is.

 

 

And I had these beautiful stickers from Recollections that are shimmery with foil edging and accents.  I mounted them on cardstock and then cut them out.  The swirly things are thin chipboard that I distressed with 4 colors of ink.

Fall-ish Thanks For Being You

Miles and the dogs kept bugging me to make more fall-ish cards.  The 4 of them don't quite understand the concept of deadlines for mailing for OWH  :)  It's ok, since it doesn't say Thanksgiving or anything specific.  (Maybe this one will have to stay home with me for while.)

This one is for the Autumn Challenge at OWH Stars and Stamps.  I think it looks like Autumn.  Maybe not traditional pumpkins, but it feels like Autumn to me!

Miss You - Love You Challenge

This challenge is for Love You or Miss You cards.  It is being sponsored by Inspired Stamps.  This card is for the fall season, sharing the love.  I guess next I should do a Miss You card as well since I am still stumped by the eyelet challenge...... the last eyelet I tried to set tore the paper and mashed the eyelet.  Not so good.  Maybe this time I will use a smaller hammer....:)  But, THIS card is about the Love!
