Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

Stump Lynn!

Inspired by Sandy, at Operation Write Home, I am working on my own series of "Stump Lynn."  These are cards made up of leftovers from other projects, RAK's and just plain old-er stuff that has been collecting dust far too long.  Not having the same access to stores like I had before I moved here, I tend NOT to throw things out so quickly.  The challenge comes when I do get to shop for supplies, the older stuff gets put in a box or drawer and is forgotten until there is no room for new or old.

This card was made from some leftover O'Scrap die cuts, some netting from a card sent to me, the Happy Birthday sticker was a RAK, stamped corners from a $1 set and the frame I made at the LSS when trying out their Cricut.

Not too bad for my first Stump Lynn.  Thanks Sandy for the inspiration!
