Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

Midweek Throwdown Color Challenge

I know I do these so out of order!  When I can't get right to them I do remember them when I find a particular paper or embellishment.  Most of my stuff is still in boxes so selection is limited and I DO get excited when I have the right combination for a challenge.  This challenge calls for a card made of black and white with a pop of color.  The black and white paper was from 2 glossy sheets of 12x12 that made 8 cards and used up the red ribbon (May Arts) that came in a prize pack from Sandy.

Hi Lynn! Your card is so gorgeous! Beautiful DP; love the font on your sentiment; and that ribbon is yummy with great texture!

Great paper choices Lynn! I've always felt red, white and black is one of the MOST striking combinations. Very nice!
