Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

MWT - Show Us Your Green

This week's challenge is a color used on cards and it is to be green.  I'm not making St. Patrick's Day cards but I do love the greens in nature.  Playing with the new Cricut cartridge I got for Christmas.  I made 6 of these!

WOW I love this, Lynn. What a great die cut and the font on the sentiment is so very pretty. Green leafy paper is beautiful.

It reminds me of an iron gate next to a beautiful garden. Great job!

That looks like an element from Ornamental Iron. I have that cartridge and don't use it much, but you've inspired me to take a second look. It's a perfect image to showcase a sentiment. Great work!

Yes, it is Ornamental Iron 2. I thought it looked like a gate as well! I'm glad you all liked it!

What a cool use for the gate! That is a cartridge I have wanted for a while. Now I know I want it for sure!
