Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

S&S Sketch #34 Challenge

This is the second one I made at 5am this morning. The rain is just coming down! Now, you might look at this card and say I didn't follow the instructions, but I would have to say I followed most of them...... #1 it is yellow. I looked and couldn't find any yellow patterned paper, hm? That was weird. #2 it started out with the same layout but just didn't work with this paper, so it got adjusted. #3 it is a Thank You card like the sample. #4 it has a little weed looking flower on it. #4 it has embellishment as requested AND most important #5 it has 2, count 'em, 2 stamps on it! LOL! It is a joke for those who know my cards. Anyway, it was fun to make at the wee hours this morning.

nice card - you are certainly allowed the creative interpretation!

Nice card, hey, I didn't do it exactly right one time but I had most things right. I think of it this way, it's still a card for OWH.

I think you did a great job interpreting the sketch. You can always claim "creative license" like I do! :)
