Operation Write Home
I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

OWH Sketch #177
Marlene was right! This is a great sketch! It really made me have to think about the patterned papers I chose. I was trying to keep in mind the lesson from June's Design Bootcamp class, the use of repetition.

Beautiful card Lynn! The repetition in colors and the dots does a nice job of tying it all together and the small framing layers add such nice detail and contrast too. Nice work. :)
I agree with Paula, the repetition in the papers and textures is great. I especially like how the crisp stamp contrasts with the distressed papers.
Super nice card...love that base paper and the sentiment! tfs!!!
