The ODBD Challenge for this month is Embossing. I always love how dry embossing looks so fancy and adds so much texture to a card. It is an awesome way to help get those scraps of DP used up as well.
Operation Write Home
I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

ODBD April Challenge - Masculine
The Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for April is to make masculine cards. I think this is how all of our Heroes feel. I'm still working out of a few boxes but glad to put ink to paper!

Birthday Sentiments
I just love this sentiment stamp! I think it is so classy. Yep, you guessed it, using up those K&Co 3-D stickers covered in Dimensional Magic. (I'm trying to get back into the swing of posting.) Yay!

OWH ODBD March Challenge - Sentiments
Hello! This month's challenge from Our Daily Bread Designs is to make cards for our Heroes with the sentiment being the focal point. Which works for me since I don't do much in the way of images and coloring.
I just love this stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby! The 3-D embellishments are more of the K&Co stash and all have had shine added with Dimensional Magic.

Card Fronts to Cards
From time to time I make card fronts out of a bunch of leftovers so that on days when I have no mo-jo I can just add a sentiment and maybe an embellishment and I have a card.
The great thing is that a bunch of these fronts are not just singles but are multiples so I can get more made in the short amount of time I have to spread my stuff on the bed and then have to clean it all back up again.
These cards are some of those card fronts that I had stashed away.
All these needed were sentiments and liners and they were good to go!
I must have been in a masculine themed mood.
These were all made from scraps to card fronts to cards.
ODBD - February Challenge - Animals
Wow, I can see from my last post that it has been awhile. It is just so dang hard to make cards on my bed, yeah the one I'm sleeping in, not a spare one. I don't think I have ever missed making one for the monthly ODBD challenge and so here it is. How about some fish???

ODBD January Challenge - Any Hero Card
What a great way to start off 2015 at Operation Write Home than to have our challenge for ODBD to be making Any Hero cards! The background on this is a bit glossy and the twinkly stars are all stickers mounted on cardstock and then popped. Also the "U's" in USA are shiny and it is part of a cardstock border sticker from K&Co.

OWH Top 14 of 2014
The following is a collection of some of my favorite cards that I made during 2014. This past year was very hard as my husband passed away in April and my favorite aunt (like a second Mom) passed away 30 days later. So much has happened in these 8 months and most of it NOT good at all so I am quite surprised that I have 14 cards to post for this blog hop. I hope you like these as much as I liked making them for our deployed Heroes!
These scrap cards were inspired by Seongsook and I loved mixing and matching all the papers.
OWH Sketch #164, kind of a masculine hello card.
What's not to love about patriotic Any Hero cards?
This one was from the OWH Cardbowl celebrating Superbowl weekend.
OWH sketch #218, I love that the papers did all the work!
In honor of my husband you used to always critique and encourage my cardmaking.
I know this one is fairly simple but it IS the only image that I hand colored this year. I love this stamp!
This one started out as OWH sketch #152 and then took a wander. I do rather like it!
This one was nuts! The fall leaves were thin stickers that I mounted on cardstock and then cut out.... yeah, I made several of these..... took forever but I really did like them!
This was actually made from scraps. I loved all the swirly patterns and colors.
More scrappy cards inspired by Cindy.
For me, kids cards are always a challenge but this one was extra fun to make.
On this one I liked all the bits and textures.
And last but not least, my FAV card of the holiday season filled with sparkle and bling!
