Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

OWH Midweek Throwdown - Things With Wings

I know it has been awhile since I have posted so there will be several today as I attempt to get caught up.  This morning the challenge is to make a card with something on it that has wings.  I made this butterfly on the Cricut and his little antennae with a small old border punch.  The ribbon is May Arts and the sentiment that I grunged up a bit is from Designer Digitals.

I really love simple cards. And butterflies are a favorite of mine. They really are magical. I think I need some ribbon like that too. TFS!

That's so pretty! Who doesn't love butterflies? And it worked so well on that embossed background! And the sentiment is perfect.
