Operation Write Home

I am currently making cards for Operation Write Home, which sends blank handmade cards to deployed servicemen and women. OWH is an amazing organization that ships thousands of cards each month to our nation's Heroes so they have something to write home on. Please check out the tag on the sidebar for more information on this inspiring mission. Please join me in supporting our men and women who sacrifice for us all.

Another Tuesday Throwdown!

I just couldn't help making another one!  I'm sure our guys and gals are doing a lot of "Thinking of You."  This one is more holiday-ish, not quite Christmas-y ..... hm?  The center frame thing was made with glueing the paper to a light piece of cardboard so it has some nice dimension and wasn't just a piece of paper.  It feels rather sturdy this way, too.

Really lovely, Lynn! The papers and bow are wonderful. Tucked in an envelope, that will make a great card for a soldier to send home. Thanks for being so supportive and for playing at Tuesday Throwdown. We just love cardmakers like you to pieces!
